"For years I struggled by myself to loose weight and get fitter, but I really didn't know what I was doing, starving myself and doing hard out sporadic exercise sessions which usually left me feeling so sore I didn't keep it up. Then I saw a little ad in the Ponsonby News "Losses weight ..." I thought what have I got to loose and with a big bike race coming up I reckoned the more weight I could loose the faster I could go!
So off I went and agreed to sign up for a trial and that was a year ago and I am still going twice a week. I have lost over 15 kg and am so much fitter. The extra benefits from this have been fantastic and I have been enjoying life so much more. It is not always easy in today's lifestyle especially when you love food and wine but the lessons I have learnt and the training I have been given has been well worth it. "Myself and a few mates and work colleagues have been doing the Group Boxing with Aaron for several months and I thoroughly enjoy and get a lot of benefit from the sessions. I attend a gym on a regular basis and complete other Group Fitness classes but it’s a great change to do training with a small class of about 4-6 mates and work colleagues. Not only do I find boxing to be a good toner and conditioner but its great to train with work mates, which breaks down barriers at work and we get to know each other better.
