After graduating from Auckland University with a Conjoint Degree in Bachelor of Science & Bachelor of Commerce Aaron joined the NZ Army where he served for eleven years, four of which were in NZ Special Forces. After leaving the Army in 08, Aaron then took on the challenge of creating K' n A' Health and Fitness.
With a strong background in boxing, from the age of 18 years old, Aaron is enjoying taking this experience and knowledge into K’ n A'. As well as personal training he also offers circuit boxing sessions or one on one boxing sessions.
With his highly intense training in the NZ Army, boxing and playing rugby at a senior level, there is not many specific fitness training regimes that Aaron has not touched on.
“I have a back to basics approach to training and require 100% commitment at all sessions. I mix cardio and strength training., alternating between upper and lower body exercises and cardio intervals. I work with free weights and power bags only enabling the recruitment of stabilisers, as well as building core strength. The type of things that people require in everyday life when doing daily activities. What is the point of looking like a body builder when you can’t even run around the park with your kids without loosing breath!”.
Aaron joined forces with Keri in September 2008 and formed K' n A' Health and Fitness, his vision is to grow the already successful personalised boutique studio into a Wellbeing Centre to accommodate all the requirements of getting people into better shape both physically and mentally.

Keri has been in the health and fitness industry for 15 years. Finding her forte in the dark depths of Northern England, Keri managed a local gymnasium leading her into Group Fitness and studying Group Fitness in Liverpool. Keri returned to New Zealand, where she then graduated from the Les Mills Boot Camp whilst also completing an Auckland University of Technology Certificate in Nutrition and Food.
After some time within the Les Mills arena Keri decided it was time to venture out and make a small but strong stand in the Health and Fitness industry, and in 2002 she turned a small spare room in her Family Herne Bay home into a mini studio. Due to a massive demand in 2006 Keri extended her studio to a new location in Coxs Bay. A couple of years later, once again outgrowing her facilities and due to client/business demands Keri was looking for a business partner to assist in growing her business.
In 2008 Keri and Aaron joined forces, enabling the one man band to grow and become K' n A' Health and Fitness.
Keri’s vision is to assist and coach clients to a healthy weight range and see their lives improve. With the ever growing obesity issues evolving Keri sees it as imperative to help those that want to help themselves.
Keri is a Specialist Weight Loss Trainer and her results are phenomenal, after 10 years personal training and her guidance to her clients individuals requirements (see Testimonials page) it is the very reason the K' n A' Health and Fitness banner is such a successful force.
